Fisher Body Plant 21 to be Converted to Housing and Retail Space

DETROIT, January 31, 2022 ~ After standing abandoned and decaying for almost three decades, Detroit‘s Fisher Body Plant 21 will be transformed into 433 apartment units, as well as retail space.

Led by Detroit Developers Greg Jackson and Richard Hosey, the project will revitalize the once-powerful symbol into a $134 million development: the largest African-American led development in the city’s history.

Construction is expected to begin in the next 12 months.
