The state will an auction of unclaimed items from safety deposit boxes this weekend. Coins, watches, jewelry, stamps, precious metals — even a human tooth will be auctioned off. The auction takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Lansing Center. Items come from safety deposit boxes that the Michigan Department of Treasury got possession of after they were abandoned.
