Aug. 1, 2023 ~ The Detroit Public Schools Community District announced 12 new health hubs Monday aimed to help students with various issues that might cause absences.
The health hubs will address the behavioral, physical, and dental needs of students. DPSCD Superintendent Nikolai Vitti hopes to address chronic absenteeism with the hubs.
