Aug. 30, 2023 ~ Construction is set to begin soon in Detroit for a new Fisher House, a place where veterans and their families can stay when veterans receive medical care.
The Fisher House will be located at 7618 Woodward Ave., servicing those receiving care at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. The construction will take 12-14 months, joining the 95 other Fisher Houses across the U.S., including one in Ann Arbor.
