COVINGTON, Kentucky, August 31, 2023 ~ Questions are being raised about Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel’s ability to lead after he froze for about 30-seconds while talking with reporters following a speech he gave Wednesday.
The incident was similar to one experienced last month at a news conference in Washington DC. A spokesperson for the 81-year-old Kentucky senator said that McConnel will be consulting with a physician before his next public event.
