Mel Tucker Releases Statement Denying Sexual Harassment Accusations

EAST LANSING, Sept. 12, 2023 ~ Michigan State University Head Football Coach Mel Tucker released a statement Monday denying sexual harassment allegations.

Tucker stated that the claims made by Brenda Tracy, a sexual assault prevention advocate, were “completely false” and argued that the upcoming hearing determining whether university policy was violated is “ridiculously flawed.” In response to Tucker’s statement, Tracy accused the suspended coach of victim blaming and attempting to interfere with the trial in October.
