DETROIT, Sept. 25, 2023 ~ In a bid to appeal to striking autoworkers, former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden will visit Michigan this week in support of UAW.

Biden announced Friday that he will visit Michigan on Tuesday, Sept. 26 to greet workers at the picket lines, while Trump will rally Wednesday, Sept. 27 at Drake Enterprises in Clinton Township. While the union has yet to endorse Biden, who touts himself as the most pro-union president in history, UAW President Shawn Fain has denounced Trump’s visit over the former president’s policies on labor.

Every fiber of our union is being poured into fighting the billionaire class and an economy that enriches people like Donald Trump at the expense of workers,” Fain previously stated.

Rocky Raczkowski, former chairman of the Oakland County Republican Party, spoke more about Trump’s visit on 760 WJR‘s “All Talk.”
