Ex-Detroit Police Chief James Craig Dives Into Michigan’s GOP Senate Primary

DETROIT, Oct. 4, 2023 ~ After being disqualified from Michigan‘s GOP governor primary last year, former Detroit Police Chief James Craig has entered the 2024 GOP primary for Michigan’s open Senate seat.

Craig joins a field of seven Republicans, including former Michigan Republican Congressman Mike Rogers, vying for the seat that will be vacated by retiring Senator Debbie Stabenow in 2024. Craig said he would align himself more with former President Donald Trump‘s policies.
