WJR Hosts, Detroit Business Leaders Celebrate Thanksgiving Parade at Annual Parade Company Pancake Breakfast

DETROIT, Nov. 3, 2023 ~ Hundreds of business and community leaders at the 24th annual Parade Company Pancake Breakfast at the nonprofit’s studio in Detroit to start America’s Thanksgiving Parade 2023 season.

Many of the notable guests dawned aprons and took turns griddling pancakes, including Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist, Gardner White President Rachel Stewart, Blue Cross Blue Shield CEO Daniel J. Loepp, and 760 WJR host and Detroit Lions color analyst Lomas Brown, who will also serve as co-grand marshal of the parade. The Barton Malow construction company revealed a new parade float that will make its debut on Woodward Avenue this Thanksgiving.

The event was also broadcast live by WJR’s Guy Gordon and Lloyd Jackson.

It’s love for our city and (the parade) does so much to bring our city and people together,” said Parade Company President and CEO Tony Michaels.
