LANSING, Jan. 25, 2024 ~ Although Governor Gretchen Whitmer may be celebrating with a “victory lap” after delivering the State of The State address last night, some concerns remain for the Michigan Republican Party.

Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt highlights the ineffectiveness of Governor Whitmer’s policies over the span of her past five years in office, claiming her short-term announcements that gain good press are failing the Michigan community. He argues that these “short-term tactics,” what Governor Whitmer calls “greatest hits,” lack a coordinated and strategic economic growth plan.
