Detroit Area Clothing Brand Opens First Pop-Up Location

DETROIT, April 12, 2024 ~ The owners of Born In Detroit Apparel, a locally run clothing company, have opened their first pop-up store right across from the Shinola Hotel.

Anthony Tomey, co-owner of Born in Detroit, is currently collaborating their online store with auto company Ziebart, where a portion of proceeds will benefit veterans organization Mission 22. For Autism Awareness Month, a collaboration with Fredi The Pizzaman Foundation will a portion of their proceeds to create sensory rooms in schools and public places across Michigan. The line is also carried in Meijer, where they just launched a new spring line.
