DETROIT, April 19, 2024 ~ It is one of Detroit‘s most unique culinary experiences and the whole country will get the opportunity to taste this legendary sandwich during the NFL Draft.
Chef Greg Beard, owner of Chef Greg’s Soul-N-The Wall restaurant, was selected to be an official food vendor for the Draft in Hart Plaza. The star of the show? The Boogaloo sandwich, an 8-inch toasted bun with seasoned ground beef, caramelized onions, melted cheese, and Boogaloo sauce. The Boogaloo has its roots in Detroit’s west side where more than 50 years ago, Jean Johnson opened Brothers Bar BQ and it quickly gained a cult following.
