MICHIGAN, May 1, 2024 ~ An anti-tobacco advocacy group is concerned after the Biden administration announced last week it was indefinitely delaying a ban on menthol cigarettes.
The Keep MI Kids Tobacco Free Alliance claimed that flavored e-cigarette sales in Michigan have skyrocketed by 600% in the past four years. The Food and Drug Administration proposed the ban particularly due to them being disproportionally marketed in Black communities.
