(CONTINUED) Tarik Skubal, the 27-year-old southpaw, has been nothing short of sensational this season. His breakout year includes top rankings in wins, ERA, and strikeouts, while leading the entire AL in WHIP at .900. Skubal’s career high 13-strikeout gem against the Cincinnati Reds earlier this week only solidified his status as an early AL Cy Young contender.

Riley Greene, the 23-year-old outfielder, has been a beacon of consistency for the Tigers this season. With a batting average of .258, 17 homers, and 45 RBIs, he has ignited a Detroit offense that has faced its fair share of challenges. Greene’s defensive prowess and versatility only add to the exhibition’s dynamic lineups.

While scheduling is still up in the air, Skubal seems to have more than a decent chance to be rolled out as the starting pitcher for the AL side. Greene is expected to come off the bench as a reserve.
