MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin, July 17, 2024 ~ Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley addressed the Republican National Convention Tuesday, putting aside the paralysis of her primary season discourse with Donald Trump to encourage party unity moving forward.

You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him,” said Haley.

Take it from me, I haven’t always agreed with President Trump, but we agree more often than we disagree. We agree on keeping America strong, we agree on keeping America safe, and we agree that Democrats have moved so far to the left, that they’re putting our freedoms in danger.”

(CONTINUED) Haley went on to criticize President Joe Biden’s policies, particularly focusing on foreign affairs and border security.

With Joe Biden as president, Putin invaded all of Ukraine,” Haley told the crowd. “But when Donald Trump was president, Putin did nothing. No invasions. No wars. That was no accident.

On border security, Haley reiterated the recurring Republican refrain.

Under Joe Biden, migrants are coming into the country by the thousands every day. We have no idea who they are, where they end up, or what they plan to do. And let me remind you, Kamala had one job. One job. And that was to fix the border.

The Republican National Convention continues this week at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The event culminates Thursday with the acceptance speech of party nominee, Donald Trump.
