DETROIT, July 30, 2024 ~ The Detroit People Mover will shut down for 11 weeks to replace sections of the track.
The track will shut down the day after Labor Day (Sept. 3), and reopen sometime before Thanksgiving. The track replacement is expected to make the People Mover quieter and smoother.
