MICHIGAN, Sept. 19, 2024 ~ A former Russian prisoner from Novi thanked the Congressional Michigan delegation Tuesday for working towards his release.
Paul Whelan was arrested by Russian authorities in 2018 for being a suspected spy, but was released earlier this year in a prisoner swap. He thanked the lawmakers on the U.S. Capitol steps.
