DETROIT, Oct. 4, 2024 ~ As ticket prices and fan interest increase for Detroit Tigers and Lions games, scammers are looking to capitalize on the excitement.
Scammers are pretending to have tickets on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace at lower prices than what is being sold officially. Great Lakes Wealth CEO Dewey Steffen told WJR that consumers should shop for tickets on the team’s website, Ticketmaster, or Stubhub to avoid being scammed.
