Ford Begins Moving Workers Into Michigan Central this Week

DETROIT, Oct. 7, 2024 ~ Months after its grand reopening, the Ford Motor Co. will move some workers into the revamped Michigan Central Station building.

The workers are expected to move in Tuesday, Oct. 8 into at least two floors of the building that Ford spent about $1 billion to restore. Crain’s Detroit Business managing editor Mike Lee said it is not clear what type of workers will be moved into the building, but added that Ford originally considered the train station as a home for mobility and electrification workers.
