DETROIT, Nov. 11, 2024 ~ Questions are swirling about the political future of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, as he is expected to make a major announcement sometime this week.
As other city council members explore running for mayor, Duggan has yet to make an announcement on whether he plans on re-running for the office. that has left room for speculation that he will run for governor as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will be term-limited in 2026.
