Nov. 11, 2024 ~ New bipartisan bills were introduced in Lansing last week that would reduce a recently passed increase to the Michigan minimum wage, as it’s due to jump up in February. This includes ditching a new rule requiring top employers to pay their tipped workers, who make sub-minimum wages of $3.93 an hour, the regular minimum wage within the next five years within the next five years. Guy Gordon, Lloyd Jackson, and Jamie Edmonds talk with State Rep. Graham Filler (R-Clinton County) about why he wants to see the bills passed.
