Frank Beckmann and the late Mike Fezzey inducted into the MAB Hall of Fame Tuesday night

Tuesday is a special day in the WJR family as two close family members are to be inducted into the Michigan Association of Broadcasting’s Hall of Fame. Frank Beckmann will be welcomed to the Hall of Fame, and our former General Manager, Mike Fezzey will be inducted posthumously. Here’s his wife, Suzy Fezzey:

Keith said Arise Detroit’s mission is to launch a new wave of volunteerism for the many worthwhile programs and activities that are struggling with the issues in the community, including illiteracy, high school dropout rates, crime, youth violence, drug abuse, domestic abuse, neighborhood blight, and unemployment. Neighborhoods Day will feature community service projects, art festivals, school supply giveaways, and vaccination drives.
