Embattled Michigan state Rep. Todd Courser issued a defiant declaration as a house committee convenes hearings on whether to expel courser him and Cindy Gamrat from the Michigan House for misconduct in trying to hide their affair. Courser issued a lengthy statement last night, calling the House Committee a kangaroo court and declaring that he’s a target because he’s a conservative. Courser and Gamrat are Tea Party Republicans.
