Ford and UAW reach extension agreement

Ford and the UAW have reached a contract extension beyond tonight’s midnight deadline. This comes after the union picked Fiat Chrysler as the lead company to set a pattern for the other contracts.

Keith said Arise Detroit’s mission is to launch a new wave of volunteerism for the many worthwhile programs and activities that are struggling with the issues in the community, including illiteracy, high school dropout rates, crime, youth violence, drug abuse, domestic abuse, neighborhood blight, and unemployment. Neighborhoods Day will feature community service projects, art festivals, school supply giveaways, and vaccination drives.
