Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is on top of the presidential straw poll at this weekend’s Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. He got 22% of the vote out of 16 candidates. Carly Fiorina was second with 15%, Ohio Governor John Kasich was third place with 13.8%, Texas Senator Ted Cruz in fourth with 13% and Jeb Bush finished fifth with 9.7% in The Detroit News/MIRS poll. It was a poll of the 785 registered conference attendees who voted.
