Former Congressman John Dingell is undergoing surgery Thursday afternoon to install a pacemaker in two chambers of his heart. His wife, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell disclosed in a Facebook post that doctors at Henry Ford Hospital wanted to go ahead with the surgery after some testing. The 89-year-old was the longest serving member of congress before his retirement.
