UAW’s Council has approved the tentative new deal with FCA

The UAW’s Chrysler Council has approved the tentative new deal with Fiat Chrysler. The vote was overwhelming. Now the contract goes before the 40,000 FCA employees for a final vote. UAW President Dennis Williams said the union secured a stronger contract. Some of the highlights include the first general raise in 9 years, health care unchanged, a bigger piece of profit sharing, and $3,000 & $4,000 bonus when the contract is approved. The rank & file could start voting late next week
