Governor Snyder says it’s time to act and finally fix the Detroit Public School System. The Governor said the monumental and crushing debt load is taking funds away from education. Snyder says creating a new DPS and an old DPS, will allow officials to isolate the debt, while directing resources to the education of children. A new bill is now before the legislature.
