Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Phil “Flip” Saunders passed away on Sunday from Hodkin’s Lymphoma. Saunders coached the Pistons from 2005-2008 where he led them to three straight Eastern Conference Finals and a franchise record 64 wins during the 2005-2006 season. He is survived by his wife Debbie and their four children.
