A Farmington Hills woman will not face charges in connection to the deadly shooting of her 24-year-old son Oct. 28 at her home in the Independence Green Apartments complex. Police said she told them shot her son in self-defense after he forced his way into her apartment. The mother has been cooperating with police. She does have a registered pistol in her name.
