It appears Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat, the two state reps who lost their seats after an affair and cover-up scandal have failed in their attempts to regain them. The pair made national headlines in the drama that unfolded. Todd Courser resigned from his seat after tremendous pressure and Gamrat was forced out.
Cindy Gamrat of Plainwell lost her bid to regain her Allegan County seat to Mary Whiteford of South Haven. Todd Courser had only about 4 percent of the vote, with most of the precincts reporting, for his former Thumb-area seat.
