The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the metro area. Winds could reach 60 mph on Thursday. The strongest winds should be between 2-8 pm according to the National Weather Sservice. Winds over 55 mph are considered a gale force. Driving could be hazardous and there could be wide spread power outages.
