There are more allegations about criminal sexual conduct against former Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh. Another victim has come forward and filed a complaint with Detroit Police. Earlier this week in federal court, Pugh was ordered to pay $250,000 for exploiting a relationship with a teen. Detroit Public Schools has already agreed to a separate $350,000 settlement. That settlement is causing some controversy. At a school board meeting, there was a unanimous vote from members to block the payout coming from DPS. Board members say they want the state to pay.
