Back to the bargaining table for Detroit casino workers

dealing-cards-1436802

Representatives from Detroit’s three casinos and their workers’ unions are scheduled for talks on Monday. Union contracts expired back on October 16th and negotiations were stalled because of health care coverage issues. Workers voted to authorize a strike but both sides also agreed to extend the contract on a daily basis until a settlement is reached or until one side terminates the talks. State and local mediators will participate in the negotiations.
