Woman apologizes for threats against Dearborn

A local military veteran has apologized for making threats against the city of Dearborn on social media. Sara Beebe tweeted the threat which made national headlines and prompted a police investigation on Friday: “Dearborn, MI has the highest Muslim population in the United States. Let’s F- that place up at send a message to ISIS. We’re coming.”

Beebe now says she expressed her anger in the wrong way and has deleted the post:  “I am sorry to the entire city of Dearborn and anyone who is affected by my ignorance by my post on Twitter I would never wish ill on any one especially because of their religious beliefs and that off the cuff post will haunt me the rest of my life. I am very sorry and I hope the people of Dearborn can see that I screwed up. And I am truly from the heart sorry.”
