A preliminary exam is scheduled on Wednesday for 31-year-old Dana Ashley Burton, the West Bloomfield Township woman who is charged with assault and intent to commit murder. Burton shot a Wixom woman at the village apartments on Tamarack on November 10th and has been held in the Oakland County jail since charged. Police reported the two woman were arguing about a man that both of them were dating. The wounded woman continues to recover from the incident.
