The board of state canvassers is scheduled to meet today to reconsider a recall petition against Governor Rick Snyder. The recall was launched by Detroit pastor, Angelo Scott. The petition claimed the governor allowed corrosive river water to endanger the health of residents in Flint. The board of canvassers rejected the petition back on November 13th on the grounds that it wasn’t timely or clear enough to meet the requirements of state law. However, it did agree to reconsider the matter at today’s hearing.
