Ann Arbor postal worker trashes mail

Federal agents say an Ann Arbor postal worker has been dumping mail into dumpsters for several months. More than a thousand letters and cards were found dumped outside of hotels and apartment complexes in Romulus. According to the criminal complaint, Antwawn Roberts was tossing more than 1200 pieces of mail and parcels between September and November. Roberts told investigators he felt overwhelmed and that’s why he dumped the mail. The recovered mail has been returned to the post office and will be re-delivered. If you are missing mail, contact your local post office.
