Giving visitors a firsthand look at what some call torturous conditions within America’s prison system, a Northwest DC church is the latest stop on the national tour of a full size model of a prison solitary confinement unit. Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington DC will have a temporary solitary-confinement cell in its Davenport Center so visitors can better understand what it’s like to experience solitary confinement.
