The Michigan Humane Society is conducting an investigation after finding a dog hanged in an abandoned Detroit home. On Wednesday, MHS investigators located the dead pit bull inside a home on Bentler Street. A witness said they saw a man walk into the home earlier in the day then walk out alone. Another dog was found standing in sewer water in the basement of the same home: he is alive and undergoing treatment. A $2,500 reward is posted for anyone who has information on this case that leads to an arrest.
