One man has been shot and killed by a security guard inside the Dearborn Heights Police and Court Building. The man, according to authorities, threatened security guards with a knife as he was trying to get through the electronic security and metal detector at the entrance of the 20th District Court. Multiple gunshots were heard. No officers were hurt. The man reportedly was involved in a case at the court.
