A 59-year old Detroit fireman has been found shot and killed in his home. He was shot in the head. Police say it appears it was a robbery, but they are investigating. They say the man’s son made the discovery. Police say it’s likely he was dead for a day before the discovery. The home is on Vaughn on the west side. Police say at least one room was ransacked, and items are missing. Police have found the man’s SUV, which was missing. Police have not released the man’s name. He had worked as a firefighter for more than 20 years.
