Traverse City man threatens mall “blow up” and is now in jail

In Traverse City, correspondent James Gemmel reports a 27-year-old man who threatened to blow up a mall in Grand Traverse City is now behind bars. A Grand Traverse Sheriff Deputy says Joseph Horger was arrested on an unrelated felony charge following a manhunt that involved them as well as the Michigan State Police and FBI. Police report witnesses said Horger wanted to kill a police officer and strap a bomb to his body insdie an unspecified mall.  A clerk at the 86th District Court says Horger is not yet formally charged. The arraignment date has not yet been set
