Taylor cat mutilated: PETA offering 5K reward

PETA

Last Wednesday Taylor, Michigan’s Jamie Lowe and her family found their cat mutilated and tied to a tree limb.  The organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) released a statement that they will pay $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person who killed the Lowe family cat. PETA representative Kate Tuggle said no arrests have been made.  PETA is emphasizing the importance for homeowners to keep their pets indoors to avoid cruelty, contracting communicable diseases, getting stolen, or hit by cars. Anyone with tips regarding the Lowe’s cat is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SpeakUp.
