Detroit firefighter David Madrigal was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. His co-workers viewed him as an especially hard worker. But last Sunday, Madrigal was found dead in his home from blunt force trauma to his head. Police are still searching for a suspect. Funeral visitation for Madrigal is this coming Sunday at the Santieu & Son Funeral Home, located in Garden City at 1139 Inkster Road. Visitation hours are 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. The funeral service will by Monday and internment at Mt. Elliot Cemetery.
