Broadband Internet use is down

INternet address

According to the Pew Research Center, broadband Internet service has fallen significantly for the first time, as a growing number of Americans are opting to use their cell phones to access the Internet. Researchers say 67% have broadband in their homes, compared to 70% in 2013. The percentage for those who use their cell phones to connect to the Internet is now at 13%, compared to 8% two years ago. The biggest declines are seen in lower to middle income homes, including African-Americans and Hispanics. Many people say the monthly cost of broadband is too expensive.
