Mary Barra is GM’s new Board of Directors Chairman

General Motors CEO Mary Barra was unanimously elected as the Board of Directors’ next Chairman. Effective immediately, Barra succeeds Tim Solso. Solso will continue to serve on the board as its lead independent director.
