Funeral services are planned for Saturday at 11 a.m. for a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of famer, William Guest. Guest performed background vocals for “Gladys Night and The Pips” from 1953 to 1989, contributing to hits such as I Heard it Through the Grapevine and Midnight Train to Georgia. He also received multiple Grammy Awards. The funeral and celebration of his life will be held in Atlanta at Mount Moriah Baptist Church and his internment will be at South-View Cemetery.
