LANSING, MI — Two new polls suggest opposition to the May 5 road and sales tax statewide ballot proposal.
One poll, released Friday by Strategic National Consulting, shows 61 percent of the voters contacted oppose Proposal 1, while 28 percent support it and 11 percent were undecided. Strategic is headed up by John Yob, a former Gov. Rick Snyder advisor who also has created a group campaigning against the ballot proposal. MORE
