Teachers from Detroit Public Schools plan another one of their “sickouts” on Wednesday. Many Detroit Public Schools may close as a result. Teachers continue to protest the governor’s education plans in Detroit. According to Detroit Teachers Federation President Steve Conn, a group of teachers is expected to rally outside the Hilton Garden Inn before his hearing with the American Federation of Teachers National Executive Council.
